AMIDATE Etomidate Injectable Emulsion is a hypnotic drug without analgesic activity. The drug can only hypnotize without an analgesic effect, but it can strengthen the analgesic effect of other anesthetics. This product is a rapid hypnotic intravenous general anesthetic. The drug can only hypnotize without algesic effect, but it can strengthen the analgesic effect of other anesthetics. After taking the medicine, there will be quietness, comfort, no excitement and struggle, and forgetfulness. Etomidate can reduce cerebral blood flow, lower intracranial pressure, and prevent convulsions caused by cerebral hypoxia.
After intravenous injection of etomidate, the heart rate often slows down, the systolic blood pressure slightly increases, and the pulse pressure becomes large, which has little impact on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. A large single intravenous injection can cause short-term apnea, which is harmful to the liver and kidneys.
