This product is suitable for general anesthesia induction and can also be used for short-term surgical anesthesia. Slow intravenous injection of 0.15 to 0.3 mg per kilogram of body weight, equivalent to 0.075 to 0.15 ml of etomidate fat emulsion injection per kilogram of body weight, is injected within 30 to 60 seconds. This product is a non/barbiturate `intravenous short-acting^ hypnotic, no analgesic effect. After intravenous injection of this product, the effect is rapid and short-lived, falling asleep quickly, waking up quickly, and has a strong inhibitory effect on the central nervous system. As the dose increases, the duration of action can be extended accordingly. This product has little effect on the respiratory and circulatory systems, and can cause short-term respiratory depression, a slight decrease in systolic blood pressure, and a slight increase in heart rate; no histamine release effect.
