From January to December 2011, the cumulative production of chemical API in China increased by 23.33% over the same period of last year, and by 9.35 percentage points over the same period of last year. China's production of chemical bulk drugs in December fell by 240,000 tons compared with November, an increase of -0.87 percent month-on-month.

From January to December, the output growth rate of chemical API continued to remain high, with the cumulative output reaching 2.8987 million tons, an increase of 23.33% over the same period of last year, an increase of 9.35 percentage points over the same period of last year, and a slight decrease of 0.55 percentage points over the growth rate from January to November. According to the data of December, the output of chemical API in China was 272,300 tons, up 28.84% year-on-year, 37.61 percentage points higher than that of the same period of last year, 1.53 percentage points higher than that of November, 24,400 tons lower than that of November, and -0.87% higher than that of November.
