This product is used to treat the following infections caused by sensitive strains of specific microorganisms: 1. Hospital-acquired pneumonia: Hospital-acquired pneumonia caused by Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive and resistant strain) or Streptococcus pneumoniae. 2. Community-acquired pneumonia: Community-acquired pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, including accompanying bacteremia, or community-acquired pneumonia caused by Staphylococcus aureus (only a methicillin-sensitive strain). 3. Complex skin and skin soft tissue infections, including diabetic foot infections without osteomyelitis, complicated by Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-sensitive and resistant strain), Streptococcus pyogenes or Streptococcus agalactiae Sexual skin and skin soft tissue infections. There is no research on the use of linezolid in the treatment of bedsores. 4. Uncomplicated skin and skin soft tissue infections, uncomplicated skin and skin soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (only methicillin-sensitive strains) or Streptococcus pyogenes. 5. Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium infection, including concomitant bacteremia. In order to reduce the occurrence of bacterial resistance and ensure the efficacy of linezolid and other antibacterial drugs, linezolid should only be used to treat infections caused by confirmed or highly suspected sensitive bacteria. If bacterial culture and drug susceptibility results are available, consideration should be given to selecting or adjusting antibacterial treatments accordingly. If these data are lacking, local epidemiological data and drug sensitivity status may help the choice of empirical treatment. In controlled clinical studies, the safety and effectiveness of linezolid preparations for more than 28 days have not been evaluated. Linezolid is not suitable for the treatment of Gram-negative infections.
