Rivaroxaban Tablets are used in adult patients with elective hip or knee replacement surgery to prevent venous thrombosis (VTE). It is used to treat adult deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), reducing the risk of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism recurrence 6 months after initial treatment. (For patients with hemodynamically unstable PE, see [Precautions]) For adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation with one or more risk factors (for example: congestive heart failure, hypertension, age ≥ 75 years, history of diabetes, stroke, or transient ischemic attack) to reduce stroke And the risk of systemic embolism. There are limited data on the relative effectiveness of rivaroxaban in reducing the risk of stroke and systemic embolism compared with warfarin under well-controlled treatment with warfarin.
