Atomoxetine Hydrochloride is a psychostimulant drug used in the treatment of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder in children and adolescents. The originator was Eli Lilly & Co (US), and it was launched in the United States in 2002. It is the only non-central stimulant approved by the FDA for the treatment of ADHD. Atomoxetine hydrochloride can inhibit norepinephrine and dopamine transporters in the brain, increase the level of norepinephrine in the synaptic space, and can effectively control the symptoms of ADHD, and improve attention. It has fewer side effects and better tolerance.
