Tiapride is a selective D2 dopamine receptor blocker substituted for benzamide and belongs to the benzamide antipsychotic. The analgesic effect of tiapride is related to the integration of the thalamus on pain impulses, and it is related to increasing the level of β-endorphin in plasma and blocking the conduction of pain impulses through the spinal thalamic tract network structure.
