Applications

It is a triazole antifungal drug. It is a potent and specific inhibitor of fungal sterol synthesis. By inhibiting fungal pigment P450-dependent enzymes, it prevents the synthesis of ergosterol, an important component of fungal cell membranes, and is used to treat various kinds of fungal infections. It has a wide antibacterial spectrum, high curative effect, low toxicity, a long action time, strong tissue penetration, wide distribution in the body, and a long plasma elimination half-life.
