Propranolol hydrochloride is a commonly used clinical adrenergic receptor blocker, which was developed by the British ICI company and is an important beta receptor blocker. Propranolol hydrochloride oral solution developed by French pharmaceutical company Pierre Fabre was approved by the FDA in March 2014 for the treatment of proliferative infantile hemangioma. Propranolol is a non-selective beta receptor blocker, which blocks the beta receptors of the myocardium and has antagonism on both beta-1 and beta-2 receptors, which can slow down the heart rate, inhibit cardiac contractility and conduction, Circulating blood volume decreases, reducing myocardial oxygen consumption. It is mainly used clinically to treat arrhythmia caused by various reasons, and it can also be used for angina pectoris and hypertensive pheochromocytoma (preparation before surgery). Compared with glucocorticoids, proteolol has been recognized by the industry as the treatment for infantile vascular disease because of its significant and rapid curative effect, mild and easy-to-control adverse reactions, and the advantages of no rebound growth of hemangioma after drug withdrawal.
