Naltrexone hydrochloride is a potent, long-acting, orally-effective narcotic antagonist useful in the management of narcotic addiction. It is a hydrochloride salt with a heterocyclic structure and was first synthesized in the 1960s. It is soluble in water and should be stored at +4°C under desiccating conditions. Naltrexone Hydrochloride can keep in storage for up to 12 months.
