Lisinopril is a drug that can be used alone or in combination with other drugs to treat various degrees of hypertension and renal hypertension. Lisinopril's third-generation long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACE) is a lysine derivative of Enalaprilate, the active metabolite of enalapril.
