At the same time, teicoplanin has a more convenient and faster route of administration than vancomycin, and it can be administered by intravenous or intramuscular injection, making the application more convenient. Vancomycin and teicoplanin are currently the only effective drugs that can effectively act on Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The worldwide problem of MRAS has led to an increase in the demand for teicoplanin. In 2017, the global sales of Ticoplanin were RMB 1 billion.
